About Our Toys
All our toys are personally chosen and selected by us. Woodland Children have the highest standards in ethical production, utilisation of natural materials and real life ´playability´ for children.
We have a strict NO polyester and NO plastic policy.
Our NO polyester rule has NO exceptions.
There are currently two exceptions for Plastics. They are:-
- The eyes of our teddies and large soft animals - glass would probably not attain the CE mark which all toys need to have to pass European standards.
- A component in the wheels of the Fagus vehicles.
It is worth noting that some companies often claim to be natural organic companies but allow their cuddly toys and dolls bedding to be stuffed with Polyester. If you choose to buy elsewhere, and polyester is a concern or consideration, please ask your supplier to confirm the materials used in their products do not include polyester.
