How long will it take to receive my parcel?
It normally takes 2-5 working days for your parcel to arrive, but sometimes sooner! If you require a faster service, please give us a call and we can send your order "Express Delivery" to arrive the next day. The charge for this service is £8.50.

Why are some of the toys so expensive?
We have searched the world for the most nature friendly, beautiful, durable and safe toys. We have a special commitment to hand made toys and toys made in Europe where the safety standards are very high. The results is, there are two main reasons that our toys are more expensive than their factory line plastic counterparts: Firstly, the handmade and hand finished toys from Europe are the most expensive because of the length of time and dedication they take to make and the higher cost of living in Europe compared to somewhere like China. Secondly, wood from responsibly managed forests is considerably more expensive than plastic or irresponsibly sourced wood. Also, cotton and wool are considerably more expensive than polyester.

Where are the toys made?
A majority of our toys are made in Europe with the following exceptions: The alphabet blocks are made in the USA and the tiny fairy is made in Brazil. The soft baby cube and all our organic dolls clothes are made in South India and are Fairtrade. None of our toys are made in China. We have a special commitment to sourcing toys from the UK and two of our suppliers are members of the British Toymakers Guild.

What forms of payment to you accept?
If you purchase via our website, you can pay through PayPal by either using your PayPal account or a credit/debit card. You can also call us directly with your credit/debit card details if you prefer. You can send a cheque but please note orders will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. Please make cheques payable to 'Woodland Children Ltd'.

Do you have a catalogue?
Yes we do! In the interests of the environment, we would rather people viewed our toys on the website which is always up to date with what we have in stock and new items. However, we appreciate that some people much prefer catalogues and we would be happy to send one to you, just fill your details in the 'Contact Us' section and tick the box saying you would like to receive a catalogue. Please note that the prices and toys in the catalogue are correct at time of going to press but are subject to change at any time.

What if there is a problem with my toy?
Please check your order when it arrives. If you would like to return any items, please contact us immediately and return them within 14 days (from the the date of the delivery note). We offer an exchange or full refund of the purchase price provided the item reaches us in its original condition and packaging. Postage costs will only be refunded for damaged or faulty goods.
Please note that we are not responsible for returned items until we receive them. We advise you to obtain proof of postage (free service from the Post Office) when sending items back and pack your return carefully to ensure its safety in transit. For more expensive items, we would advise you to ask for insurance (which only costs a little bit extra).
