It's definitely time for Christmas shopping! For the rest of November, starting today (Friday 20th November), we will be popping some Tinti natural bath colours into each order. For those of you who don't know, they are completely natural, plant based and hypoallerganic bath colours. They make the perfect stocking filler and ALL orders will receive two free sachets!

Aah, the hot weather has arrived and holidays are upon us!

For June and July, we are revisiting some of our previous offers as clearance so we can make way for our exciting new toys ready for after summer.

This means that Feng Shui dolls remain at £25 (RRP £40) until the last few are sold, and the lovely "Trap Me" game (based on Mousey Mousey) will now also be £3.99 until the last few are sold.

Here's a sneak preview of two new products which will be appearing on our spring newsletter. Introducing two gorgeous doll's beds. A large wooden rocking cradle, and a small wicker cradle. Both are made in the UK, and both come with pure cotton and wool bedding. You can find both these items in the "Dolls" section.

Woodland Children to Design & Manufacture in UK

Woodland Children will soon be designing and manufacturing its own toys and plans to help lead the way in the natural and imaginative toy market including adopting the strictest ethical and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes in toy production.

As individuals we have many years of teaching and parenting between us and are really passionate and enthusiastic about toys and imagination. We are sisters who as children did not have a great number of toys but created and invented many games and toys of our own. We think it has given us an imaginative edge and a deep understanding of what children would like to and can do with toys.

About Our Toys

All our toys are personally chosen and selected by us. Woodland Children have the highest standards in ethical production, utilisation of natural materials and real life 'playability' for children. We have a strict NO polyester and NO plastic policy. Our NO polyester rule has NO exceptions. There are currently two exceptions for Plastics. They are:-

The eyes of our teddies and large soft animals - glass would probably not attain the CE mark which all toys need to have to pass European standards.
A component in the wheels of the Fagus vehicles.

It is worth noting that some companies often claim to be natural organic companies but allow their cuddly toys and dolls bedding to be stuffed with Polyester. If you choose to buy elsewhere, and polyester is a concern or consideration, please ask your supplier to confirm the materials used in their products do not include polyester.
