We are committed to nature and the sustainable production of toys for children´s play. We have a duty to our children and future generations to take the environmental issues that face our planet seriously and believe we need to educate our children to do the same.
We have taken great care and thought in selecting our range of toys and hope to improve the quality of children´s play by nurturing and bringing to life the limitless and wonderful world of imagination our children possess. We aim to provide a choice of toys that will last and last, some of which may become heirlooms handed down from generation to generation.
We try to keep our prices as low as possible. Toys individually made by hand inevitably carry a price which represents their true value over plastic contemporaries.
However, they should last for years to come - and one beautiful handmade natural doll, cared for and befriended and as kind to the earth as she is to your daughter - is surely worth three plastic fashion dolls which will end up taking thousands of years to break down on the rubbish heap.
Our toys are sourced as locally as possible to reduce ´toy miles´ with most toys sourced within the UK and Europe. It is important to us that those involved in the manufacture of toys are valued appropriately and not subject to harsh working conditions and poor wages.
We value our Customers feedback and take time to listen. We actively seek your feedback and know that with your help and suggestions Woodland Children and the values it holds dear will grow stronger and more mainstream.
