Each of these animals is handmade in Europe, oiled in the traditional way with linseed oil and handpainted. When we receive them, we have to let them 'breathe' for a few weeks so that the oil and wood can 'settle'. We love the fact that we have to do this. It makes them feel really special- and they truly are.
